Healing Vigor and Wound FAQ
If you heal someone, you must choose whether or not to heal vigor or wound points.
If you choose to heal vigor points, healing works as normal. If you choose to heal wound points, instead of rolling dice, you instead heal one wound point per die you would normally roll for that healing effect.
If you are a Cleric and can burst for 3d6 points of healing, you pick what you want to heal. If you choose to heal Vigor points, roll 3d6 and everyone recovers that many Vigor points. If you choose to heal Wound points, your character would heal 3 Wound points.
If you can cast a 5th level Cure Moderate spell, you pick whether or not to heal Vigor or Wounds. If you choose to heal Vigor, you would roll 2d8+5 and heal that amount. If you heal Wounds, you would instead heal 2 Wound points.
A 15th level character chooses to cast Heal. If you choose to heal Vigor, the character would recover 150 points. If you choose to heal Wounds, the character instead recovers 15 Wound points.
